Griffith University Relaxation Nation (GURN) is bringing you a drop-in Terrarium & Succulent Potting Bar during Recharge Week, the perfect study break where you get to pot your very own succulent or miniature plant to take home!
Date: Thursday, 10 September 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: N76 Campus Heart, Nathan Campus
Cost: FREE for all Griffith University students
What to Bring: Just yourself! Everything is provided.
How It Works:

Drop in anytime between 10 AM and 2 PM — no fixed start time, come and go as you please
Choose your container — pick from a selection of pots and jars
Layer your terrarium — add soil, charcoal, decorative pebbles, moss, and stones
Pick your plant — choose your succulent and pot it up
Take it home! — walk away with your own little piece of calm

What's Provided: All tools and materials including soil, succulents, pebbles, moss, decorative stones, trowels, spray bottles, and kraft gift bags to carry your plant home.
Socialising: Come solo or bring a friend — this is a relaxed, no-pressure environment. Chat, create, and de-stress at your own pace.
Photography: Photos and videos may be taken at the event for GURN's social media. Please let a committee member know if you'd prefer not to be photographed.
