Life Drawing

Come along to self-guided life drawing sessions with the Hive. We're an inclusive space that facilitates figure and portrait practice in all mediums. No experience is required, this is a safe space to practice and enjoy art making.
Sessions are open to everyone whether you are a Griffith student or not.

The Hive will be running Life Drawing sessions every Monday and Friday of Trimester one 2025 (excluding public and uni holidays). Fridays will be a variety sessions. Check out our Instagram page @thehiveqca to see the weekly theme or download our google calendar.
Please try to arrive 15-20 minutes early to set up as doors close at 5:30pm.

We have some of the most affordable prices in Brisbane and are always looking to make it as accessible as possible.
Some basic materials (e.g. paper, pens and pencils) will be available but we encourage you to bring your own kit as well.

Ticket Sales will open the day before the session and can be purchased at the door with campus groups or with cash.
Session prices:
• Members: $5
• Causal: $10

• Student: $15
• Public: $20
