Membership costs are $10 for Griffith Students, $12 for Non-Griffith Students. Membership to our club grants free weekly dance classes throughout the trimester, and discounted prices to any upcoming socials or events. You must be 18 years or older to join as a member.

Verify your age and Griffith student status (if applicable) to current club's president, secretary or treasurer. After proof of payment to our bank account, our executives will manually validate you as a member into our club on CampusGroups. Just walk-in to weekly dance classes and our admin team will register your attendance.

The Griffith Marine Society is a club for all students currently enrolled in a marine-based undergraduate or postgraduate degree at Griffith University. Our club aims to create a space that brings all marine students together for social aspects, to provide degree-specific recommendations and information, and to encourage marine students to develop their experiences and licenses that will all benefit them in future empolyment.

Griffith Racing Team competes in Formula SAE, a worldwide competition with almost 600 competing universities. Students design, construct and race an internal combustion or electric open wheel race car of up to 710cc/80kW over the course of a year culminating in an annual competition in Melbourne.

The competition allows for students to develop their skills in design, management, manufacturing, communication, research and business operations in a real world environment. All disciplines welcome.

GRT members have the opportunity to develop skills found only outside the classroom. We believe we are the only opportunity for Griffith students to gain invaluable experience.

Students enjoy a large variety of social events, promoting teamwork and the development of networking.

New students work directly with our most experienced members, ensuring a learning experience for all members. Green members also regularly attend training and knowledge sessions run by senior members.

GUARD will develop and enrich STEM skills in all participating students through the VEX Robotics Competition, VEX U (short for VEX University). Through the VEX U program, students will be able to compete against hundreds of university teams from around the world, learning to collaborate with international teams and students to further develop their own understanding of robotics as well as self-reflect on their team performance.

Serotonin is a mixed vocal group who sing in the a cappella (unaccompanied) style and are situated at Griffith University, Gold Coast Campus.

Serotonin is a constantly evolving and growing group aiming to spread the sonic recreation of college a cappella. Each year, we perform in the Australian A Cappella Championship - AUSACA, have performed in Carnegie Hall in New York, represented the Gold Coast in the Chengdu International Sister Cities Youth Music Festival in Chengdu, China as well as performing in many local settings.

Our repertoire currently spans several genres and continues to grow. We are heavily inspired by films and television shows such as Pitch Perfect, Glee and The Sing-Off.

We strive to empower young people to play an active role in politics, and make a genuine impact in areas that matter to them. GUVIA aims to facilitate student success by hosting a variety of social events, including meet-ups, debate nights, study sessions and networking opportunities. In this way, our society endeavours to foster life-long friendships among its members, while also allowing students to connect with academics and industry professionals. Some of our club's notable achievements include the planning and co-hosting of galas and panel events featuring guest speakers from the United Nations, European Union, and various levels of Australian government.

Even if you don't study political science, our society is bound to have something for you. GUVIA's membership fees go directly into supporting club activities and facilitating access to services and undergraduate opportunities that would not otherwise be available. Naturally, these sorts of credentials will give one a competitive edge upon entering the job market, and given the limited number of places in most graduate programs, extracurriculars are a must if one is to stand out in a crowd.
