Griffith CritCare Society is a medical interest society for Griffith University Medical Students interested in pursing a career in the various fields of Critical Care medicine. We aim to educate and broaden students across the fields of emergency medicine, anaesthetics, intensive care, trauma and acute surgery, and retrieval medicine.

We aim to deliver high-yield clinical skills workshops and educational seminars which will be developed and presented by current practicing doctors. Will will also run the annual Griffith Emergency Medical Challenge in April each year for students to put their clinical skills into practice, as well as multiple social and networking events.

Griffith Racing Team competes in Formula SAE, a worldwide competition with almost 600 competing universities. Students design, construct and race an internal combustion or electric open wheel race car of up to 710cc/80kW over the course of a year culminating in an annual competition in Melbourne.

The competition allows for students to develop their skills in design, management, manufacturing, communication, research and business operations in a real world environment. All disciplines welcome.

We will be meeting on a regular basis at the Nathan Campus to enjoy the fine sport of Table Tennis! We will be providing tables, rackets and table tennis balls for use by members. Griffith University's Cheer Team offer both beginner and intermediate levels of cheer. We are a competitive sporting club attending competitions throughout the year with the Australian All Star Cheerleading Federation (AASCF) and have the opportunity to compete at a national level. Our social mission is to improve the standard of beach volleyball on campus by ensuring that individuals are taught and trained well.
Our competitive mission is to win. We have won the most medals for Griffith University at UniSport Nationals for three consecutive years.

As a member of the club, you are offered weekly training sessions on campus, our connections to the wider beach volleyball community, and supportive sports development. We enter inter-varsity competitions against other university teams around the state and country that require a level of competitiveness upon trial.
The club also competes in indoor volleyball until such time a new club of the Student Guild is established.

We are the GUGC Netball Club. We compete in both social and competitive competitions on the Gold Coast. We represent Griffith in a wide range of competition's, with the UniSport Nationals (Div 1) being our main focus and major competition for the year. However, we also compete in a few of the Gold Coast's club competition's on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights that are open to Griffith students!

HOPE4HEALTH (H4H) is a non-profit organisation and registered charity founded by Griffith University students in 2006.

What was initially a small medical student run organisation, now boasts over 1,000 members from all health disciplines. Our organisation is focused on eliminating health inequality wherever it exists. H4H aims to improve health outcomes for local, rural, indigenous and international communities. We achieve our goals by coordinating awareness raising activities for our members including guest speaker seminars, clinical skills trips, teddy bear hospitals and much more. Each year we also host corporate fundraising events, including our not to be missed black tie gala, the Jazz Dinner Dance

IntoMed is an interest society for those pursuing a career in Internal Medicine through the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), and for others with a general interest in medicine including allied health students and biomedical science students.

We endeavour to provide high-yield clinical interpretation workshops which are developed and presented by us in consultation with doctors. Membership includes access to all of our events free of charge, our workbook resources, and information and social events. We are currently working on bringing you new materials through a website to support your learning.

The club plans to service its members by organising and hosting informational workshops relevant to internal medicine specialties. These workshops are directly tailored to link with medical education content and hence provide relevant and useful information to our members. Additionally, these workshops will include speakers and presenters from the medical specialties, such as radiologists and cardiologists, which allows members to network with their future colleagues and gain more insight into medical specialties.

Moreover, the workshops include tutors who are junior doctors which allows members to get an insight into early career opportunities to be involved in their medical specialty of choice. It also allows students to ask questions about desirable CV and personal qualities that they can then work towards while in university.

Serotonin is a mixed vocal group who sing in the a cappella (unaccompanied) style and are situated at Griffith University, Gold Coast Campus.

Serotonin is a constantly evolving and growing group aiming to spread the sonic recreation of college a cappella. Each year, we perform in the Australian A Cappella Championship - AUSACA, have performed in Carnegie Hall in New York, represented the Gold Coast in the Chengdu International Sister Cities Youth Music Festival in Chengdu, China as well as performing in many local settings.

Our repertoire currently spans several genres and continues to grow. We are heavily inspired by films and television shows such as Pitch Perfect, Glee and The Sing-Off.

The Hive QCA is a creative arts club from the Queensland College of Art and Design. We run weekly life drawing session during trimester one and two of the university calendar.
We're an inclusive space that facilitates figure and portrait practice in all mediums. No experience is required, The Hive is a safe space to practice and enjoy art making and is open to Griffith University students, alumni and members of the public.
